Dr. Allard completed an undergraduate degree at Queen's University, medical school at the University of Toronto, and Urology residency at McMaster University. Following residency, he completed a Urologic Oncology Fellowship at Harvard University and the Clinical Effectiveness Program at the Harvard School of Public Health before returning to his hometown of Burlington, Ontario. He is Head of Urology and Director of the Halton Clinical Teaching Unit for the McMaster Urology Residency program.

Dr. Sowery completed an undergraduate degree at Queen's University. He remained at Queen's for his Masters of Immunology, medical school, and Urology residency. He subsequently completed a Urologic Oncology Fellowship at the University of British Columbia. Dr. Sowery is the former President of the Medical Staff Association at Joseph Brant Hospital and former Director of the Halton Clinical Teaching Unit for the McMaster Urology Residency program. He has been practicing in Burlington, Ontario since 2007.
